Here are some reviews:
This is a scrumptious collection of recipes from around the world, sprinkled with a bit of food history, cultural anecdotes, and stories of real life on the mission field. From the Philippine jungles to the poorest villages of Mexico, Stasia shares from her heart beautiful and godly lessons about grace, humility and hospitality. I highly recommend this book not only for its wealth of recipes (she includes recipes for baked goods, desserts, appetizers, soups and salads, entres, beverages, and breakfast foods), but for the faith she shares, inspiring one to trust God and His “small voice” as He leads and teaches each of His children, no matter on what mission field they find themselves —HarpBird
This book relates the wonderful stories, food memories of a missionary mother in her beginnings and journeys across the globe. I was moved to tears several times as it touched my heart deeply. The recipes are easy to follow and simple enough that even for a non cook like myself there are many I would take on and try out especially if I were entertaining! It was so delightful to read I was wishing that there was more to read, it left me hungry to hear more! Thank you for sharing your stories and recepies with us! —K. Eelma
Tiastasia’s Food Memoirs is a wonderful read! I can’t wait to get started on all those delicious recipes! If they’re only have as good as the well written stories, they’ll be awesome! Tiastasia delivered a wonderful treat for all! You won’t be disappointed. —lalajava
