This was such a beautiful post!

I love the line, “Gratitude demonstrates an understanding that I’m am nothing on my own …” because I am learning that in my study on Grace. How not to diminish God’s Grace by thinking I can do it. I wrote a tweet today that will post tonight that says: “Forgiveness & Thankfulness go hand in hand. > Forgive me. Thank you. < It should be your mantra … it should be your prayer." We should live our lives with an air of gratitude to our Heavenly Father. It pains me when I realize how often I don't.

Thank you for this lovely reminder.

PS the foundations of the ministry in Tepehua started with my little girls, who are now all grown up, making breakfast for the poor children weekly and us going door to door helping with babies in Christ’s name. Anabel was there as well. Eventually the lot was purchased, the building built and it later became the orphanage. Now it is back to its roots and I am determined to honor the ancient boundary stones so to speak and keep Jesus at the front of what I do with the poor and needy there. Thank you for your prayers, they are greatly needed. Greatly. Everyone up there, Moonie included knows where I stand as far as my faith, and that I will endeavor as much as the Lord strengthens me to put Him first in all I do up there. It is an honor to serve Him. It is a battlefield up there, truly. God Bless you brother.

Hello Stasia,

I met and visited with you briefly last Friday—Bob and I were taking
measurements for shelving in the pantry. I had no idea that you were a Christian missionary—Tina told me about your web sight—I am delighted. I have been praying that Tepehua would become more of a
Christian based facility. To be sure, what ever small thing I may do there
will be done in Christ’s name. Perhaps you put up the Ten Commandments poster?
