Field of SunflowersLiving as faith missionaries, every penny counts especially recently. It seems lately my integrity keeps getting challenged at greater levels. I will not be moved. Integrity and honesty can and will make a difference in this crooked world. I have MANY stories I could tell you about integrity  but I will just share what happened yesterday.

Families Who Cannot Be Named

In this January 2012 article in the CBN.com newsletter, new facts arise regarding the persecution of Christians in rising Islamic countries.

40 Days of Amazing Christ-filled Integrity-based Ministries you should know~

(but I can’t tell you about…)

Well, today is difficult for me because I would very much like to introduce you to several wonderful families, however I cannot.  If I did that I could be putting their lives in danger.   They are tirelessly serving the Lord in Islamic regions, in Communist countries and in places where bombs and air raids are common.

In an article written in 1962, Grady Mangham shares the inspiring story of 3 faithful missionaries in Vietnam who were abducted and never recovered.

Many years ago we had the absolute honor of working alongside of a Chinese Church Of The Christian and Missionary Alliance.  Our Pastors were life long missionaries, T Grady and Evelyn Mangham.   They had spent over two decades serving the Lord in Vietnam as well as other places in Asia.  The depth of the spirituality of the congregation was impressive.

Operation Christmas Child

Posted by on Dec 1, 2012 in Amazing Ministries, Christmas, Hope and Grace, Inspirational, Inspiring story, Missionary Story | 0 comments

A hot cup of tea, and Bing Crosby singing, “It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas,” in the background has really put me in the Christmas Mood.

Tonight as we move into Day 8 of The 40 Days of Amazing Christ-filled Integrity-based Ministries, I would like to take a moment and applaud the Ministry of

Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

I am sure that you have seen Franklin Graham on some television program recently sharing about the wonderful ministry of

Operation Christmas Child.

Did you know that if you do not have time to build a box you can build one on line?

You can build a box online and follow it all the way to its destination.

Josue, another one of the sweet children I was able to care for in my home when we was a baby~

As I begin to write this evenings article I find myself giggling at the irony of it all.  Tonight, the nation is in a frenzy buying up lottery tickets (about 130,000 every single minute)  for the second largest lottery pool in history.  Take a breath and have a quiet moment here with me.  Isn’t it fun to dream about all the wonderful things we could do with that money?  I mean, we could do so much good if we had that money right?  Dreaming of paying our debts?  Imagining all the ways we could bless our family or just spoil ourselves?  Stop.  Rewind.   Farther.  Farther.  Way back in time.  Over two decades now.
